I have been asked to appear on the panel for the next Geelong Chamber of Commerce Q&A event, providing advice for small businesses wishing to leverage the power of online advertising and sales.
The Q&A sessions are a Geelong Chamber of Commerce initiative that provide advice on a range of topics of interest to local businesses, and take place in the form of a panel of experts that the audience can ask questions of.
This month's Q&A has the topic of 'How to grow you business online' and you don't have to be a chamber member to come along.

Great night
The Q&A last night went very well, there ended up being 6 people on the forum - four who work in the industry and two people who run successful websites for their businesses.
As a group we fielded a lot of questions, and although they were diverse there was a focus on Search Engine Optimisation and using tools like blogs, podcasts and video to help your website build your profile online.
It highlighted to me once again the need people have to understand these techniques. Many of these internet strategies are simple to implement and have a very low cost if you can spend time doing some things yourself.
This also prompted me to take more seriously the blog and articles I provide here on chocolatechipmm.com.au - hopefully I can give you information and tips that will help to explain these strategies and other internet technologies in a way that allows you to use them more effectively and efficiently. So look forward to more articles and blog posts with a clearer focus and renewed vision!
